    The City of Kissimmee will host a Mother’s Day Symphony Concert on Saturday, May 7th, 2016 at Kissimmee Lakefront Park, beginning at 7:30 p.m. The live concert will feature music performed by the Orlando Symphony Orchestra and will take place on the Civic Lawn at Lakefront Park located at 201 East Lakeview Drive.

    City of Kissimmee Celebrates Earth Day with Lake & Park Clean-Up

    In celebration of Earth Day, volunteers from the City of Kissimmee and the Health Department of Osceola County came together today to help clean Kissimmee’s Lakefront Park and Lake Tohopekaliga. 50 volunteers picked up litter and debris, collecting just over 550 pounds of trash and recycling.

    The City of Kissimmee celebrated the arts with live music, a vocal performance and artwork during last night’s City Commission Meeting. Students participating in the Osceola County School District’s Arts Alive program came together with family and friends to view their artwork on display throughout Kissimmee City Hall.

    The City of Kissimmee Parks & Recreation Department is seeking Umpires for the 2016 softball season, with games taking place at the Fortune Road Athletic Complex. Compensation for umpires will be $20.00 dollars per game with a two-man crew and $24.00 dollars per game when umpiring alone.

They are also seeking men’s softball teams for the 2016 Adult Spring Softball Tournament which will take place April 23 -24, 2016.

    The City of Kissimmee is seeking input from citizens to help determine park and recreation priorities for the 110-acre Lancaster Ranch site. The Recreation Master Plan will be a community based plan that will provide conceptual programming needs, facility locations, funding opportunities and implementation recommendations.
