The Governor of the State of Florida, Ron DeSantis, signed the House Bill 1099 on Friday, May 10, 2019, allowing certain restaurants in Downtown Kissimmee’s Redevelopment District to be issued a special liquor license.
The Kissimmee Gateway Airport reports a light aircraft crash at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2019, after performing a touch-and-go maneuver. The aircraft came to a rest on Runway 15 with three people on board; 1 instructor and 2 students, all three exited the aircraft without injuries.
