Ten "pad ready" parcels of land, ranging from one to 1.5 acres, will be available in mid to late 2012. This project is designed to attract small and medium sized aviation businesses interested in constructing a hangar facility under a long term leased arrangement.
The City of Kissimmee encourages Air Cargo, Avionics and Aircraft Maintenance providers to be located within the airport's property.
This major arterial road is undergoing a $30 million expansion and realignment. Upon completion, Hoagland Boulevard will provide more immediate access to the airport. Phase I, from U.S. 192 to Fifth Street, will be completed in December 2012.
Martin Luther King (MLK) Boulevard
This road expansion will support development opportunities between the airport and the central corridor of Kissimmee. Phase III of MLK Boulevard will connect to Dyer Boulevard near the airport.
Thacker Redevelopment Site
Formerly, this nine acre parcel housed ball fields. The land has been reverted to the Kissimmee Gateway Airport. The next step is for the City to accept RFPs for the redevelopment plan.
This preliminary concept consists of long range plans to create transportation mobility between industrial sites, rail lines and the airport.
