Annually, the City of Kissimmee provides limited funding to non-profit agencies with the opportunity to request a portion of its Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding that provide social services to low and moderate income persons/households who are in need.

The annual CDBG Action Plan process begins in March of each year, with a notice of funding availability published in the newspaper of general circulation.

A mandatory pre-application workshop is held annually in April and grant applications are due from eligible applicants requesting funding is held prior to application submission deadline.
