Historic Restoration
The City of Kissimmee Downtown CRA has been charged with restoring Historic Downtown Kissimmee to make it the heart of the community. The agency is striving to establish the downtown area as a center for culture, recreation, and marketing opportunities by increasing economic development, improving infrastructure, providing visual quality through unified design, and increasing residential opportunities in the downtown area.

In Historic Downtown, the CRA is striving to build strong specialty retail, provide quality residential opportunities, be a major service center by providing government, medical, and professional services, as well as be a focal point for community events.

In order to reach these goals, the CRA is considering a review of the grant program to assist in the restoration of  commercial and residential properties.

Please refer to the maps to locate the grant boundaries. Below are examples of successful restoration projects.
