The Stormwater Pond completed in 2014 is a great example of planning and engineering at its best, benefiting Toho Square Redevelopment, Hansel Site Development, the SunRail Intermodal Station, Florida Department of Environmental Protection  and Downtown Redevelopment efforts.  The Stormwater Pond was a joint effort with the Public Works and Engineering Department, Toho Water Authority, Osceola County and UF/IFAS spearheading this great feat.

  • The Stormwater Pond will Reduce Overall Pollutants and Sediments Entering LakeTohopekaliga
  • Reduce Runoff Rates, Decrease Flooding and Improve Flood Control
