There are a lot of exciting family-friendly events happening in the City of Kissimmee during the month of February. Kissimmee Sunshine Regional Chili Cook-Off & Craft Beer Festival

Kissimmee's only sanctioned chili cook-off and craft beer festival will be our biggest yet with more chili and more craft beer than ever before. Sample the best chili you’ve ever tasted from dozens of competitors for only $5 and grab a craft beer sample pass to try some of Central Florida’s best craft beer offerings.

The Kissimmee Sunshine Regional Chili Cook-Off & Craft Beer Festival is a sanctioned competition by the International Chili Society. Bring the entire family and enjoy live music, craft vendors and activities for kids. Whether you love good food, craft beer or community fun this is the perfect event for you.

Admission and parking are free.
Chili Cook-Off Tickets: $5 for 7 chili samples
Craft Beer Sample Tickets: $15 early bird craft beer pricing ($25 the day of)

Food Truck Rodeo & KUA Movie in the Park

Start your weekend off right every first Friday of the month with the Food Truck Rodeo and KUA Movie in the Park. 

The Food Truck Rodeo begins at 6 pm. This month's food truck line up is Brizzles Bistro, Uncle Eddie's BBQ, Paula Jamaican Cuisine, Peter John Ice Cream, the Brave Burger and Chikiz Empanadita.

Activities and games begin on the Kissimmee Lakefront Park Veterans Lawn at 5:30 pm and the KUA Movie in the Park will begin at 7 pm. This month's movie is Disney's The King.

Kissimmee 5k

Celebrate Valentine's Day with Kissimmee Main Street at the annual Kissimmee 5k. This event promotes heart health with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the American Heart Association.

Daddy Daughter Dance

African American Read-In

 This is a photo showing books laid out open on the floor.

The African American Read-In is a unique open-mic style event that celebrates African American authors and artists that made significant cultural and artistic impacts on our nation and the world.

Volunteer to read or perform a selection at this event. You can either have a selection given to you or you can bring your own piece. Please register in advance at kissimmee.org/readin.

Black History Month Reception

Kissimmee City Hall will host the Black History Month Reception on Tuesday, February 18 at 5 pm. Join our City Commission as we celebrate Black History Month with live music, an art exhibit, food and special presentations.

No School Field Trip
