City of Kissimmee Announces Closure of Darlington Avenue and Pleasant Street to Vehicular Traffic – Update
The City of Kissimmee announces the closure of Darlington Avenue between Broadway and Pleasant Street, and Pleasant Street between Monument and Ruby Avenues to vehicular traffic starting Monday, November 28, 2016 for approximately 7 months during the streetscaping and utility work project. There will temporary lane closures on Ruby Avenue Tuesday, November 29 and Wednesday, November 30. Traffic will be maintained on Ruby with flaggers.
Pedestrian access to businesses will remain open and deliveries will be accommodated to the best of the City and Contractors ability.
All businesses along Darlington Avenue and Pleasant Street will remain open during construction and have at least pedestrian access to their entrance.
Burkhardt Construction, Inc. is the City’s primary contractor for this project
