Located near Orlando, just eight miles away from Walt Disney World and 10 miles away from the Orlando -Orange County Convention Center, Kissimmee Gateway Airport (ISM) accommodates general aviation air service 24 hours a day with two paved airport runways--respectively 5,000 and 6,000 feet.
Four Fixed-Based Operators (FBOs) are located on the airport property, as well as a number of flight training schools, new T-hangars, box hangars, and a variety of recreational activities.
The public is encouraged to visit an historic Warbird Museum with T-6 Warbird adventure flights, P-51 Mustang pilot training and an 18-hole golf course.
The airport is owned and operated by the City of Kissimmee and its air traffic control tower operates daily from 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m

Kissimmee Gateway Airport Awarded by National Asphalt Pavement Association
Kissimmee Gateway Airport is pleased to announce their recent Runway 06/24 project was selected by the National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) for a 2014 “Quality in Construction Award”. The award was made jointly to the airport and the primary contractor for the project, Ranger Construction Industries, Inc. of Winter Garden, Florida.
City of Kissimmee Opens Martin Luther King Boulevard Phase III
The City of Kissimmee officially opened Phase III of Martin Luther Boulevard this past Friday, with a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by City Commissioners, City Staff and community leaders. “Now that this important third and final phase is complete, citizens can go from St. Cloud directly to the Kissimmee Gateway Airport. This new east west corridor will generate job opportunities in both industrial and commercial areas, over the next 25 years" says City of Kissimmee Mayor, Jim Swan.
