Located near Orlando, just eight miles away from Walt Disney World and 10 miles away from the Orlando -Orange County Convention Center, Kissimmee Gateway Airport (ISM) accommodates general aviation air service 24 hours a day with two paved airport runways--respectively 5,000 and 6,000 feet.

Four Fixed-Based Operators (FBOs) are located on the airport property, as well as a number of flight training schools, new T-hangars, box hangars, and a variety of recreational activities.

The public is encouraged to visit an historic Warbird Museum with T-6 Warbird adventure flights, P-51 Mustang pilot training and an 18-hole golf course.

The airport is owned and operated by the City of Kissimmee and its air traffic control tower operates daily from 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m

  • Kissimmee Gateway Airport Announces Increased Flight Activity for National Business Aviation Association Convention
    Kissimmee Gateway Airport is expecting increased flight activity during the week of October 19 thru the 24, in association with the National Business Aviation Association Convention. The Convention is held every other year at the Orlando-Orange County Convention Center, and has the highest economic impact of any recurring convention in Orlando. Since Kissimmee Gateway Airport is closest to the Convention Center, many attendees and exhibitors chose to operate out of the airport during the show.

    The City of Kissimmee announced the reopening of Runway 06/24 at Kissimmee Gateway Airport. The reopening was kicked-off with a ribbon cutting ceremony, with state and local dignitaries on hand, on Thursday, September 4, 2014.
  • Naval Career Launched at Kissimmee Gateway Airport
    Stallion 51’s Mustang Assistant Crew Chief, Kris Riel, was sworn into the Navy this week, at the Kissimmee Gateway Airport. Riel will continue his work at Stallion 51 until he reports to Officer Candidate School in Newport, Rhode Island on October 12, for his 12-week training program. He will then report to the Pensacola Naval Air Station for flight training.
