The application list for the 2016 School of Government has closed. Please check back in August 2017 for the 2017 Classes.
The City of Kissimmee School of Government is a program designed to provide residents with a first hand look at their City government.
This free program is open to residents, 18 years old or older, who live or own a business within the City of Kissimmee limits. Each week residents learn about different City departments through a series of hands-on activities, demonstrations, and/or tours.
The program runs for six consecutive Thursday evenings from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Since its inception in the Spring of 2000, more than 200 residents have graduated from the program. Some of the graduates have filled positions on the City's advisory boards and volunteer committees.
Click on the SOG Application Form above to apply for the program.
The deadline for completed registrations is Friday, September 16, 2016.
