Kissimmee Gateway Airport is anticipating a high level of activity during the annual SUN ‘n FUN International Fly-In and Expo, which is taking place April 4-9, 2017. While the main activities of SUN ‘n FUN occur at the Lakeland Airport, Kissimmee Gateway Airport experiences a diverse mix of aircraft associated with the event that prefer to make Kissimmee Airport their base of operations during that time.

Located near Orlando, just eight miles away from Walt Disney World and 10 miles away from the Orlando -Orange County Convention Center, Kissimmee Gateway Airport (ISM) accommodates general aviation air service 24 hours a day with two paved airport runways--respectively 5,000 and 6,000 feet.
Three Fixed-Based Operators (FBOs) are located on the airport property, as well as a number of flight training schools, new T-hangars, box hangars, and a variety of recreational activities.
The public is encouraged to visit an historic Warbird Museum with T-6 Warbird adventure flights, P-51 Mustang pilot training and an 18-hole golf course.
The airport is owned and operated by the City of Kissimmee and its air traffic control tower operates daily from 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m
