2018 Qualifying Procedures

Dates to Remember:

Early Voting (Primary)

 August 18, 2018 through August 25, 2018
City's General Election  August 28, 2018

Early Voting

City's Run-off Election

 October 27, 2017 through November 3, 2018
City's Run-off Election  November 6, 2018

 

Deadline to register to vote:

City's General Election  Books close on July 30, 2018
Run-off Election  Books close on October 9, 2018

 

Election Qualifying Information:

Qualifying Period begins at noon on Monday, June 18, 2018 and ends at noon on Friday, June 22, 2018

To qualify for office you will need to submit all qualifying papers during the 2018 qualifying period. You may submit your qualifying papers to the Filing Officer (Osceola County Supervisor of Elections) for holding, 14 days before qualifying begins, NO DOCUMENTS WILL BE PROCESSED UNTIL QUALIFYING OFFICIALLY BEGINS. 

The Filing Officer (Osceola County Supervisor of Elections) will review your documents and inform you of any corrections or missing documents required. 

Qualifying Fees and Petition Requirements for 2018:

The City of Kissimmee does not require petitions as part of qualifying.
