How to Schedule or cancel inspections via the Citizen Access portal.

To schedule an inspection via the City’s online Citizen Access portal, please complete the following steps:

Step 1:  Are you a first time user or return visitor?

Step 1a: First time user:  If you are a first time user of the Citizen Access Portal, you must complete the New User Form.  Once submitted, you will receive an email linking your account to the address provided.

Step 1b:  If you are a return visitor, please click on the “Log In” button .

Step 2:  Once you are logged in, click on "My Applications" button on the left hand side.  Then click on "Permits"

Step 3:  A new screen will appear with all applicable projects.  Select by clicking on the permit in which you wish to schedule an inspection.

Step 4:  A new screen will appear with a summary of your project.  Select the “Inspections” tab and click on the type.  Please note:  you may need to scroll down if the inspection is not visible. 

Step 5:  A new box will be added to the bottom of the page asking whether you wish to Schedule, Cancel or Print an Inspection Ticket.  Click on the applicable request.

Step 5a:  If you’re scheduling an inspection, enter your preferred date of inspection and any notes for the inspector.  Once complete, click on “Request Inspection”

Step 5b:  If you’re wishing to cancel an inspection, click on the confirmation button.

 

The City of Kissimmee online services is available 24 hours a day.  However there may be instances where maintenance activities may cause the program to be unavailable.  If your transaction has a due date associated with it, it is your responsibility to ensure that your payment is made by that due date.  Delays cause by unavailability of any online service DO NOT warrant the reversal of late fees, as payments may also be made by other means, such as postal mail and walk-in during normal business hours.  Online payments are designed to ensure the privacy of your credit card information, name, address, email and other information you provide to us.
