Whether you are a homeowner or a licensed contractor who wishes to construct or develop within the City of Kissimmee, a permit is often required prior to starting work on your proposed project and can be completed in 5 to 7 simple steps:
Step 1: Determine whether a permit is required by visiting our Projects that Do Not Require a Permit page.
Step 2: Select from the following list to determine the type of permit you will need for your project.
Step 3: Submit the application, applicable documents/plans and review fees.
Step 4: Staff review to ensure compliance with City/State standards and if applicable comments will be offered.
Step 5: Once approved, a permit is issued and construction can start.
Step 6: If applicable, schedule an inspection and obtain approval.
Step 7: If applicable, obtain a Certificate of Occupancy permit.
