The City Commission, Chief Fran Iwanksi and Sheriff Bob Hansell  congratulate Kissimmee Police Sergeant Camille Alicea during the Tuesday, March 10 Commission Meeting. She was presented the Osceola County Public Service Award by La Prensa Newspaper. The 2nd  Annual “Hispanic Women Who Make The Difference” awards ceremony took place on Saturday, March  7 .

FOR AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY

Quilt Group

Mayor Jim Swan and his daughter Sharise thank members of the Kissimmee Police Department for the time and talent they invested in creating four quilts to honor those who have lost their battle against cancer. The project raised $550 for the American Cancer Society and was inspired by Linda Swan, who passed away in 2008.

Mickey Mouse and the Mayor of Main Street U.S.A. pay a visit to the City of Kissimmee to honor Mayor Jim Swan, Commissioner Jerry Gemskie and former City Commissioner Jeanne Van Meter with a Proclamation for the City’s 125th Birthday.
