The Personnel Department services 650 employees fulfilling 161 different positions in 11 different departments. Vacant positions are advertised in The Orlando Sentinel and posted every Monday for 10 days on the bulletin board by the Personnel office in City Hall. Beth Stefek has been the Director of Personnel and Risk Management since June 1991. She supervises four employees and manages a budget of $383,530. Mrs. Stefek is responsible for Employee Benefits administration, Application Processing, Self-Insurance Program administration, employee training, all labor law issues and employment records.
