Traffic Shift on John Young Parkway (SR 423) in Kissimmee Project 418403-2 Osceola County

 A major traffic shift is scheduled for the north and south bound lanes on John Young Parkway, from Portage Street to Oak Street, between the hours of 11 p.m. on Tuesday night, December 20, 2016 to 6 a.m. Wednesday morning, December 21, 2016. Traffic will be shifting west of its current location and will remain in this configuration for approximately six months.

North and south bound traffic will be separated by construction barrels with turn lanes in place at specific locations. Message boards are in place, please be alert and follow all signs and markings. This traffic shift is part of the Florida Department of Transportation’s John Young Parkway widening project from Portage Street to Vine Street. The Lane Construction Corporation is performing the work.

Project updates will be posted to the Florida Department of Transportation’s Central Florida website at www.cflroads.com Schedule is weather permitting.
