Parking & Boat Ramp Information for Kissimmee’s July 4th Celebration
The boat ramps at Big Toho Marina, located at 69 Lakeview Drive in Kissimmee, will be closed on Monday, July 4th, due to the activities and fireworks taking place during the City’s Monumental 4th of July Celebration that same day. Boaters may drop in at other public launch areas located around Lake Tohopekaliga in Osceola County. Owners whose boats are currently docked at Big Toho Marina will still have access to their boats during the holiday.
Free parking can be found near Kissimmee Lakefront Park and throughout downtown:
Toho Square Parking Lot
Kissimmee City Hall (101 Church Street)
Osceola County Courthouse Parking Garage on Bryan Street (3:00 p.m.-11:30 p.m.)
Osceola County Parking Lot at Courthouse Square
Handicap parking will be available at Toho Marina and the Kissimmee Civic Center. Free Lynx bus service will also be available to and from the Lynx Kissimmee Intermodal Station with a required voucher. Lynx vouchers may be downloaded and printed from the link at www.kissimmeeparks.org. Vouchers can be presented at any Lynx bus stop that provides service to the Kissimmee Intermodal Station located in Downtown Kissimmee.
The celebration will take place throughout the entire Kissimmee Lakefront Park and will feature fun and entertainment for the entire family including live music on stage, a beer garden, and food trucks on the Event Lawn. An interactive KUA Kids’ Power Zone will take place on the Civic Lawn. Admission to the event is free.
This year’s celebration features live concerts on the Event Lawn including:
5:10 p.m. – 5: 55 p.m. Doubting Abby – Central Florida cover band introducing original work.
6:00 p.m. – 6:50 p.m. The Supervillains – Originating in St. Cloud, this ska/punk/reggae band is working on their 9th new record.
7:00 p.m. – 7:50 p.m. Ken-Y – Puerto Rican artist with three #1 albums on Billboard’s Latin Rhythm chart, featuring current hit album “King of Romance”.
8:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Tone Loc – American Rapper & Actor best known for his million selling hit singles “Wild Thing” and “Funky Cold Medina”.
8:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Soul Asylum - American Alternative Rock Band best known for their triple-platinum album “Grave Dancers Union”, featuring Grammy Award winning single “Runaway Train.” Recently released their seventh studio album “Change of Fortune”.
9:30 p.m. – 9:50 p.m. Fireworks over Lake Tohopekaliga.
